The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) is formed by a series of procedures used to evaluate the equipment immediately after the assembly process and to verify its main characteristics. Therefore, the ultimate goal of FAT is to verify that the instrument is built and operates in accordance with design specifications and that every component and control works in properly.
IsoCell PRO is extremely complex machinery and must work in a Grade D area ensuring a physical and aseptic separation between the working area and external environment. This is why the FAT is just one of the several tests that our engineers routinely do during the production of an isolator for Advanced Therapy.
BioAir’s equipment is installed all over the world, and the FAT for this IsoCell PRO (that will be shipped in China in the next few days) has been performed remotely, with multiple cameras connected on a Microsoft Teams streaming and with the constant sharing of every document.
